This release is the culmination of my firsts efforts at exclusively producing as well as the first full length lp attempt from local HipHop outfit Kawcayshan.

When we put this together I really felt as if it was ahead of its time, and i still feel the same about it now.

2003 was the year we completed this and until then I had only been dabbling on my own shit without much direction.

The reason I feel this was ahead of its time is cause we had no idea what to do with it once it was completed. Our lack of knowledge and understanding of the business side of the craft left us with a quality product but with no commercial options.

There might be opinions about it now regarding aussie MC's spitting with Americanised/Disguised voices but we did this before any of us ever encountered any accent debate.

Besides, accent or not these guys can seriously spit some raw & storytelling shit with sharp as fuck delivery.

A well constructed album from start to finish with some my favorites being "Three Soldiers, Flat Liners, Degenerate & Till I Die"

Kawcayshan consists of 3 MC's (Nem, D'Gen, Howdy). After this release I worked extensively with D'Gen and produced his Solo EP "The Uprising".

Howdy has also gone on to solo efforts and D'Gen has partnered up with Kawcayshan founding emcee and brother to continue on their collaborative work as "Nem & Gen"
